The perfect overview. The ultimate in fan cooking.
True fan - Ventitherm®.
The fan gently circulates hot air around the oven to give an even temperature
throughout. True fan - Ventitherm® ensures no transfer of flavours so you can
cook sweet and savoury dishes together. It is also very economical and time -
efficient as it does not require pre-heating for most dishes.
Slow cook.
Uses low temperature to gently cook.
Ideal for casseroles & joints.
Dual circuit variable grill.
Uses the inner and outer part of the
grill element, to provide full width
even grilling.
Variable economy grill.
Uses only the inner part of the grill
element, ideal for smaller portions
such as 4 slices of toast. The heat is
controllable and using one element
saves energy.
Fast grill.
Available on all 60cm cookers. Heats up
in less than 10 seconds. It is 20 times
faster than a conventional grill and
reduces grilling time by up to 50% with
a 60% improvement in energy efficiency
compared to a standard grill element.
Open or closed door grilling.
Available on all 60cm cookers. The grill
automatically adjusts for open or
closed door grilling.
Conventional cooking.
Heat from the top and bottom elements
provide traditional cooking with zoned
heat. Ideal for baking bread and cakes.
Multifunction.

combine fan cooking with conventional
cooking, giving up to 10 cooking
functions for exceptional cooking
versatility.
Fan controlled defrosting.
A hygienic and gentle way to defrost
food. Suitable for even delicate items
such as cream cakes, this light defrost
circulates room temperature air around
the food slowly, defrosting it in less
than 1/2 the time.
Rotitherm Roasting.
Heat is directed from the top element
to the surface of the food while the
fan circulates heat around the oven.
This clever setting gives the perfect
authentic spit roast effect for meat,
poultry and roasting potatoes; all the
benefits of a rotisserie without the mess.
Rotisserie.
Meat is skewered on a spit and revolved
constantly over the heat source, so that
it is evenly cooked in its own juices.
Keep warm.
Heat from the top and bottom elements
are used to maintain a temperature of
80°C, ideal for keeping food warm until
ready to serve.
Base heat finishing.
Heat from the bottom element only.
Perfect for reheating pies and pastries
as it keeps the pastry crisp. It can also
be used to slow cook.
Top heat browning.
A gentle heat from the top element
only, ideal for browning lasagne or
shepherd’s pie.
Pizza setting.
The base element crisps the pizza base,
leaving the topping perfectly cooked.
The feature is also ideal for quiches
and flans.
Hob safety features.
Our hobs come with added safety features
to ensure cooking is as safe as possible.
• Cast iron pan supports have non-slip
silicon feet for greater stability as
well as being stylish in appearance
and having a durable finish. They can
be removed and placed in a dishwasher
for ease of cleaning.
• The glass lid is fitted with a gas
safety valve. When the lid is closed
it activates the safety valve which
stops gas supply to the hob, giving
you peace of mind.
• Residual heat indicators visually
indicate when residual heat is left
on the hob surface for that added
reassurance.
Gas hobs.
AEG-Electrolux’s special gas burner
design produces a clean and perfect
flame - for total cooking flexibility
and precise results.
• Large 3kW triple crown rapid burner
provides more heat, ideal for heating
larger pans.
• The 2kW semi-rapid burner is ideal
for everyday food cooking.
• The 1kW simmer burner is smaller
which ensure perfect simmering or
best coverage on smaller pans.
• The Wok Burner has three individual
circles of flame incorporated into
one 4kW burner for maximum heat.
Perfect for wok cooking.
• The Cast Iron Griddle has fast
response ceramic elements allowing
it to heat up extremely quickly,
saving time and energy.
Ceramic hobs.
The AEG-Electrolux ceramic zones are
designed to use less energy and by
heating up quickly - saving time too.
• Ceramic Hilight zones have a fine
ribbon element under the glass which
heats up in less than 5 seconds,
saving both time and energy.
• The Dual Zone has a ceramic
cooking area with 2 zones. It can be
used for cooking with large pans, or
alternatively just the middle section
can be activated for smaller pans,
offering convenience and economy.
• The Triple Zone has a ceramic
cooking area comprising of three
different sizes, which can be
activated to match the size of
saucepan being used.
• An elongated oval zone, is a multi
purpose zone which can be used as a
single zone with just the round section
activated, or extended to accommodate
casserole dishes or fish kettles.
• The ‘stop and go’ feature means at
the touch of a button, all zones are
brought down to simmer level, then
when the button is touched again it
returns the zones exactly to the
previous level. This feature is ideal
when dealing with an unexpected
guest or phone call.
• Following selection of a power level
and cooking time, pressing automax
brings the zone up to the boil and
then reduces it to a pre-selected
power level for the remainder of the
cooking time.
